Ingredients
- 8 apples
- 450 g demerara sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 150 ml water
- melted chocolate
Method
- Place all the ingredients except the apples and chocolate in a pan and bring to the boil.
- Boil rapidly for 8-10 minutes.
- Push sticks into the apples, dip into the toffee and coat evenly. Leave to set on greaseproof paper.
- Once dry, dip into melted chocolate and again leave to set.
