Ingredients
- 6 oz Spaghetti
- 1/2 lb mince
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 tsp mixed herbs
- 1/2 pint beef stock (made with a stock cube)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 oz cheese, grated
Method
- Brown the mince in a frying pan and drain the fat.
- Stir in the onion and garlic and fry for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the flour and tomato puree, mixed herbs and stock.
- Return to the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions, usually heat in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Drain and place on plates. Add the bolognese over the top of the spaghetti and sprinkle with grated cheese.
