Ingredients
- 125 g plain chocolate
- 250 g butter
- 50 g ground rice
- 100 g caster sugar
- 125 g plain flour
- 196 g can condensed milk
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tbsp milk
Method
- Mix half the butter and half the sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the flour and rice and stir until it all binds together. Knead until smooth.
- Roll out onto a square and press evenly into a shallow 20 cm saquare tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Leave to cool in the tin.
- Gently heat the golden syrup, condensed milk and the remaining sugar and butter in a pan.
- Heat until golden, then spread over the biscuit mixture. Leave to set.
- Place the chocolate ans milk in a small pan and heat until melted. Spread over the biscuit and leave to set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
