Ingredients
- 300g chocolate (milk, dark, white or a mixture)
- 75g butter
- 3 large eggs
- 175g caster sugar
- 175g self raiseing flour
- 175g hazelnuts, shelled and roughly chopped
Method
- Grease and line an 11" x 7" cake tin.
- Melt 1/3 of the chocolate with the butter in a bowl over a pan of boiling water. Allow to cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs, then stir in the reamining chocolate.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and sugar. Stir in the chocolate mixture and the hazelnuts.
- Pour into the tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
- Leave to cool in the tin, then cut into 16 triangles.
