Ingredients
- 1/4 lb bacon
- 1 large packet instant mashed potato
- 1 pint boiling water
- 6 oz cheese, grated
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Method
- Grill the bacon until cooked.
- Make up the instant potato according to the instructions on the packet. Stir in almost all the grated cheese.
- Cut the bacon into 2 inch pieces and stir into the potato.
- Turn the mixture into an oven proof dish and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
- Arrange the tomatoes over the top and place the dish under the grill, Cook until the surface is bubbling.
- Serve with a green salad.
